The graphics, inspired by 16-bit era games, are charming, although the pixelated faces can be a little expressionless. This game is designed for multi-platform play, so the mobile-friendly controls may seem simple to players used to more fully-featured PC-native MMO control schemes. The social aspect of guild formation plays a big role in this game, making it a good one to play with a dedicated group of friends. Like most mobile MMOs, this one features a currency mechanic which can feel intrusive and unbalanced.

If you like retro-influenced art and music, Warspear Online might be worth checking out. However, you have to be aware that this is a heavily PvP-focused game. If that's not your cup of tea, avoid it.
